Atlas of Human Anatomy, Professional Edition (Netter Clinical Science) by Frank H. Netter is a worldwide reference book for human anatomy since 1989. First released more than 20 years ago, this fifth Professional Edition re-released on May 3, 2010 and still NOT AVAILABLE in eBook edition and seem it will never be. Atlas of Human Anatomy Book Review: The main difference between the professional edition and the softcover edition is mainly the covering of the atlas, and there are hardly any other differences. While the pictures are not real photos, the paintings done by Dr. Netter are so accurate I almost prefer them. Based on the pictures I am able to get a clear idea of where structures are positioned before cutting or doing blunt dissection with my fingers/probe/scissors. That being said, there is also great benefit to seeing what the structures should look like after a professional dissection in photographs. I believe it is best to have exposure to both excellent pictures (like in this atlas, for a general location and a grip on vocabulary) and either a cadaver or photos taken by a professional anatomist. Atlas of Human Anatomy, Professional Edition (Netter Basic Science)
ebook review and free download: All over the world research is going on to improve the outcome of the treatment of peripheral nerve lesions. Yet, there exist many questions, such as: Is the autologeous nerve grafting still the golden standard in bridging defects? Have alternative techniques to overcome defects reached a level to replace autografting? What can be expected from end to side coaptation? The contributions in this book give answers to all of these questions.
Review: At last, here’s what you should’ve learned in high school biology! This paperback edition is an Everyman’s humorous look at the real differences—biological, historical, psychological—between men and women…with fun and provocative insight into what really drives behavior and interactions between men and women. Men talk about women to men. Women talk about men to women. Men and women talk to each other (or try to) about relationships. It’s Not You, It’s Biology provides insight, ammunition, snappy comebacks, and interesting cocktail party banter for everyone who ever wondered why we do what we do vis-a-vis the opposite sex. It’s Freakonomics for the Relationship-Challenged.
