The Psychopath Test: A Journey Through the Madness Industry is an enlightening and entertaining book which presents questions about psychøpathy in a balanced, but questioning, manner. Written by Jon Ronson, this 288 pages non-fiction Psychology book introduces readers to psychiatrists, patients, victims and perpetrators.
The Psychøpath Test: A Journey Through the Madness Industry begins when Ronson learns of a British prisoner who, in a foolhardy plan for early release, pretends that he is insane. This foxy hoax worked so well that the convict finds himself incarcerated as incurably mad. From that dizzying takeoff, Ronson’s book cruises to theories about CEO and politician psychøpaths and interviews with neurologists about telltale clues of mental dysfunction. A refreshing take on the grim topic of lunący.
Even this is a non-fiction book, the story inside it was like an adventure fantasy story. Recommended book for anyone with a taste for the non-gory bits of CSI and Law & Order and/or for those who curious about human nature and its darkest side.
